MEET THE BAND

Tequila Sunrise, a tribute to Eagles, was originally formed by current Taylor Swift lead guitarist, Paul Sidoti, in 2002.  Hailed as the "Best Eagles Tribute Band on Earth" in the February 2004 issue of Rolling Stone Magazine, the band enjoyed tremendous success over the course of the band’s initial five year run.  A staple on the fair/festival/casino and most notably House Of Blues circuit, the band frequently played to sold-out standing room only crowds.

Now back comprised of the most amazing collection of Nashville-based touring musicians, Tequila Sunrise is ready to transport you back to the golden era of the 1970’s Eagles heyday.  Replicating the intricate arrangements of their timeless catalog with top notch proficiency, you’ll feel as if you time traveled to one of the most magical times in music history.  Featuring members who have toured extensively with Taylor Swift, Bryan Adams, Don Felder of The Eagles, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, and Lady A, among many others, you’ll enjoy an evening of unforgettable music.

BAND MEMBERS

PAUL SIDOTI

Since 2007, Paul Sidoti has served as lead guitarist/ vocalist for 14-time Grammy award winning and multiple Diamond and platinum selling artist, Taylor Swift. He has traveled the world multiple times on record-breaking tours, the most recent being the historic "The Eras Tour."  Paul has also lent his talents on guitar, keyboards and vocals to the (Taylor’s Version) re-record albums in Taylor’s catalog.

Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, he got his professional start in the music business playing bass with Gary Lewis and The Playboys from 1993-99. He had the opportunity to backup multiple Rock and Roll Hall of Fame artists from the 50’s and 60’s during this period. In 2000, he performed as bassist/ guitarist with Eric Carmen.

He moved to Nashville in November 2000 at which time he served as guitarist/ keyboardist/vocalist for 70’s power pop icons, Raspberries, on their reunion tour from 2004-07. He also toured with country music star and Grammy winner, Bryan White in 2007.

Paul portrays the funny and charismatic character that is Joe Walsh.

BRIAN POWELL

Originally from Vancouver, Washington, Brian Powell got his start at an early age picking up trumpet and guitar at the age of seven and eventually settling on bass in junior high. He landed in Nashville in 2016 and started doing sessions while also making trips to Muscle Shoals recording with various artists.  He’s had multiple compositions in movies and television as well as EA Sports video games, landing a song that was featured extensively on the national radio show, The Jim Rome Show.

Brian has performed and toured extensively around the world with a diverse list of artists which include; Jason Michael Carroll, Saving Abel, James Otto, George Ducas, Wayland, and Casey James among many others.

Portraying Timothy B. Schmit, Brian not only delivers the signature high background harmonies and bass parts but brings a visual similarity to authenticate his role as one of music’s most iconic and beloved bass players.

JODY HARRIS

Originally from southern Ohio, Jody Harris moved to Nashville in the early 90’s where he quickly latched on to the thriving country music scene.  His multi-instrumental talents on guitar and drums combined with his stellar tenor voice, quickly landed him gigs playing with superstars such as Kenny Chesney, John Michael Montgomery, Montgomery Gentry, and Brad Paisley.

As a songwriter, he has had songs recorded by Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Travis Tritt, Lorrie Morgan, and The Bellamy Brothers.

Jody portrays Don Henley in Tequila Sunrise where his incredible vocal talents shine through.





ALEX NORTH

Alex North originally hails from Sarasota, Florida and moved to Nashville at the age of 18 to pursue a career in music.  Upon arriving, he quickly landed and became an in-demand guitarist for session and touring work which included playing and writing with artists such as Gavin DeGraw and Anthony Orio.  He has backed up numerous artists which include: Riley Green, Kid Rock, Craig Morgan, Mark Wills, Colbie Caillat, Easton Corbin, Rodney Atkins, and Priscilla Block to name a few.  

In the role of Don Felder, Alex North flawlessly brings the Eagles signature licks and sounds to life weaving between acoustic and electric guitars, mandolin, and pedal steel.




ALEX TOMLINS

Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Australian-born Alex Tomlins is a singer/songwriter, guitarist, and producer who is a graduate of Queensland University of Technology where he obtained a Bachelor of Music in Performance degree. He has built a career both on stage and in the studio, performing across the rock, country, blues, and Americana genres.  As a touring and session musician, Alex has performed alongside artists including Kat Luna, Julia Cole, and Jackson Capps among others.

A lifelong fan of the Eagles, Alex is a perfect fit for the role of Glenn Frey in Tequila Sunrise: A Tribute to the Eagles. Drawn to the band's unmistakable vocal harmonies and their seamless blend of traditional American music with classic rock, he loves bringing their timeless songs to audiences with authenticity and energy.



JOSH KARAS

Josh Karas is a Nashville-based keyboard player whose versatility and commitment to excellence have made him one of the most sought-after talents in the city’s vibrant music scene.

Known for his ability to seamlessly navigate a wide range of musical styles, Josh has become an in-demand collaborator in the pop, rock, country, and jazz worlds. He has performed and recorded with a diverse array of artists, including Corrina Gill, Natasha Blaine, Emmy Rose Russel, Annie Bosko, Iam Tongi, Alyssa Allgood, Onoleigh, and many more. His live performance credits also include touring across the United States, South America, and Asia.






ISAAC LEONG LOON

Originally hailing from Australia’s Sunshine Coast, Isaac Leong Loon has spent over 16 years carving out a reputation as one of the most dynamic and versatile musicians in the industry. Now based in the music capital of Nashville, Tennessee, Isaac brings a global perspective and a high-energy approach to every stage he hits.
